Alfred Labatos & Kevin Vitug
Both must be in their late teens or early twenties ; both are actors although ALFRED LABATOS started off as a child actor after joining EatBulaga’s ‘That’s My Boy‘ and eventually becoming a regular face in ABS2‘s ‘Goin’ Bulilit‘ and a whole lot of shows and movies. He is also an accomplished voice talent. He is now a part of the cast of the teenybooper sitcom ‘LUV U’ also with ABS. KEVIN VITUG on the other hand is best remembered for his daring performance as the balikbayan-junkie Troy in Archie del Mundo‘s “Taksikab”. He has also starred in several indies alongside tv guestings; he was also part of the Filipino cast of the international horror film ‘DARKEST NIGHT’ which was shot in its entirety here. Their similarity is so striking that when I saw Kevin’s photo on the TAKSIKAB spread last year, I asked Direk Archie if he was ‘the’ child actor. The answer was in the negative with an information that Kevin is actually the nephew of Senator Jinggoy Estrada‘s wife , Precy. It must be their labial formation that sets their synonymous appeal. Or, the way they shoot a gaze or even with some facial mannerisms. Whatever it is, they still stand out as individual hotties who are out to conquer greater states in their chosen career!
